3 Steps To Survive The Pandemic

INTRODUCTION

It’s time to grow and build our confidence. We have to shift our perception of COVID-19 to being an opportunity, not a roadblock. In this episode, we are going to go over the top three things you need to get on top off to push through this pandemic and get back in the driver’s seat.

TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THIS EPISODE

  1. You should be selling online. The internet is open 24 hours / 7 days a week. PERIOD.
First things first. Regardless of what product you sell, the internet is still open. As long as the internet is open, commerce is possible. You CAN make money. PERIOD. I, as a consumer, still have problems I want to be solved, plus brand new problems I need to be solved.
  2. My first business was a gift basket business. People told me time and time again to start selling online. But truth be told, I was too scared of the things I did not know anything about and understand. I look back now, and I wish I would have entertained the idea now knowing the power of the internet. The internet is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is always open.
  3. I don’t care what kind of product or service you have. What does matter is that you’re crystal clear that your willingness to rethink the way you are solving the problem you have been solving for a long time is going to be your gateway to you making the right shifts to make your revenue goals this year.
  4. People still have money
There are still people out there with dollars in their bank accounts. But they are only going to spend that money on products and services that they believe can solve a problem for them. The question for you is, how will you solve a problem? How will you take what you do to solve their problem?
  5. You are going to HAVE to get creative
You have to re-imagine how you solve the problem and who you are going to solve that problem for. You need to brainstorm. You’re going to have to re-work things over and over again until you find something that’s going to work in this new environment.

THE HOW

The number one place you need to turn to in order to start thinking about putting dollars into your bank account is: you have to create a product. Just a product that you can sell online.

EX: Childcare provider – Create kits and activities, and remote online babysitting.

Own a restaurant- Sell some recipes or do a “cook with our chef” online training.

Take your focus to just ONE product and sell that product online.

I don’t want you to underestimate the fact that I, as a consumer, want to be taught. The world wants to pay you for what you and your company knows, not just exactly what you can offer, but your KNOWLEDGE.

I turned my whole life around by simply just being creative. A skill every CEO should have is creativity. When I first started I wouldn’t say I was creative, I would say I was practical. But my willingness to sit with a dry erase marker and some paper or a whiteboard and map out my ideas and allow myself to just dream, magic was created. It forced me to be more and more creative each and every day.

I don’t need to be the best, I need to be different.

If you are not selling online you are missing out on a ton of opportunity. Period.

Be different. Be creative

Everything is possible if you stop thinking small, if you’re willing to do the hard stuff, and if you’re willing to be creative.
